Does accepting a part time position with the Census Bureau make you eligible for any hiring privileges in applying for full time work with USG?
If so, what jobs are applicable? Would those be limited to US Census Bureau? Limited to Dept of Commerce? Or limited to some other USA Jobs filter?

Will it say career conditional vs. temp vs. term on my job offer, or do I need to look back at the job posting I applied for? And what would be the difference of each of those? Edit (for more context): the job is going to be for the door-to-door census taking position. Edited by user Sunday, February 23, 2020 2:39:37 PM(UTC)

I'd like to know this too. I work at the Census now as an administrative clerk. My position is temp until September at most. Aside from getting some additional experience for my resume, would this position look favorable to recruiters if I were to apply for other federal/government jobs after the Census is over?

I'm an enumerator for the next few weeks anyway. My SF50 says excepted service, nontenure. Term NTE 10/13/2020. I guess I have another 5 weeks or so. :) Edited by user Monday, September 7, 2020 4:53:32 PM(UTC)
